# Accessibility Statement

LazerdizaynCo's commitment to digital accessibility — what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to report a barrier you have encountered.

**Effective date:** April 23, 2026

LazerdizaynCo is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our storefront and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

## 1. Conformance status

This website strives to conform to **Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA**, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). "Strives to conform" means that we are actively measuring against the standard but that we have not yet completed every recommendation; the list of known limitations is published below.

This statement applies to the lazerdizayn.co storefront, the customer account area, the cart and checkout flow, and the transactional emails we send (order confirmations, shipping updates and refund notices).

## 2. Measures taken

    - Skip-to-content link on every page so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the header navigation.

    - Visible focus indicators on every interactive element (links, buttons, form fields, tabs).

    - Semantic HTML throughout: real headings, real lists, real form labels, ARIA landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).

    - Form errors announced via `role="alert"` live regions.

    - All product images carry descriptive `alt` text; decorative images use empty alt.

    - Color contrast on body text and primary CTAs meets or exceeds 4.5:1 in light mode and dark mode.

    - Touch targets on the mobile UI are at least 44 × 44 px in the cart, checkout and product page.

    - Inputs use `font-size: 16px` minimum so iOS Safari does not auto-zoom on focus.

    - The site honours the user's `prefers-reduced-motion` system setting where animations would otherwise play.

    - Modals (search, mobile menu, cookie banner, review photo lightbox) trap keyboard focus, restore focus on close and respond to Esc.

## 3. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content has not yet reached the WCAG 2.1 AA bar. We are working on each of the following:

    - **Auto-rotating hero carousel:** the homepage carousel does not yet expose a pause control. We are adding a visible pause/play toggle and pausing on focus.

    - **Customer-uploaded review photos:** the platform does not require a contributor to write alt text. Until the upload form makes that field mandatory, peer-uploaded review photos may not have descriptive alternative text.

    - **Some color contrast on muted helper text** (e.g. "Optional" hints under form fields) measures below the 4.5:1 ratio. We are darkening these to AA in the next CSS pass.

    - **Star-rating radio groups** in the review form lack a wrapping `<fieldset>` + `<legend>` for the rating context. A redesign is queued.

## 4. Assistive technology compatibility

The site is tested with the following combinations:

    - NVDA + Firefox on Windows

    - VoiceOver + Safari on macOS and iOS

    - TalkBack + Chrome on Android

    - Keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge

If you use a different combination and encounter a barrier, please contact us — your report goes directly to the engineering team.

## 5. Reporting an accessibility issue

We treat accessibility complaints as priority defects. If any part of this site is not accessible to you, or you have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us:

    - **Email:** [info@lazerdizayn.co](mailto:info@lazerdizayn.co?subject=Accessibility%20issue) (subject line "Accessibility issue")

    - **Response time:** within 2 business days for an initial reply, with a remediation plan within 10 business days.

Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology and browser you were using, and any screenshot or screen-reader log that is helpful.

## 6. Formal complaints and rights

This statement is our voluntary commitment under **Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)**, the European Accessibility Act, and KVKK. Customers in the United States with unresolved accessibility complaints retain all rights afforded under the ADA. We will work in good faith with any complainant and any disability-rights organisation that contacts us before any litigation is filed.

## 7. Changes to this statement

We update this page each time we ship a meaningful accessibility improvement or discover a new limitation. The "Effective date" at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. The full revision history is available on request.

*This statement was prepared on April 23, 2026 based on the WCAG-EM (Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology).*
