# Refund & Return Policy

How returns, refunds, replacements and order cancellations work for custom laser-cut signs produced by LazerdizaynCo. Includes defective item handling, damage claims and the 14-day inspection window.

Because each sign is custom produced to your specification, our refund and return rules differ from standard retail. This policy explains exactly when you are entitled to a refund, an exchange, a replacement, a partial credit or a cancellation, and how to make the request.

## 1. Custom Orders and the Proof-Approval Rule

Every order is produced to order. Before production starts we send a digital proof (PDF/PNG) for your approval. You may request unlimited revisions to the proof at no additional cost, and you may cancel the order for a full refund at any time *before* you approve the proof. Once the proof is approved in writing (reply e-mail or dashboard confirmation), production starts and the order is classified as custom-made — it is no longer eligible for a change-of-mind refund because the goods are produced specifically for you and cannot be re-sold.

## 2. Defective or Incorrect Items

If the item you receive does not match the approved proof, is cracked, chipped, scratched beyond surface tolerance or has a manufacturing defect, you are entitled to a **free replacement** or a **full refund**, at your choice. Contact [info@lazerdizayn.co](mailto:info@lazerdizayn.co) within 14 calendar days of delivery, attach clear photos of the issue and the outer packaging, and we will start the replacement or refund process immediately.

## 3. Shipping Damage

Shipments are insured. If the outer box or protective packaging shows visible damage on arrival, please (a) photograph the box before opening, (b) photograph the item immediately after opening, and (c) e-mail the photos to [info@lazerdizayn.co](mailto:info@lazerdizayn.co) within 14 calendar days of delivery. We will file a claim with the carrier and issue a replacement or refund without waiting for the claim outcome.

## 4. How to Request a Refund, Replacement or Exchange

    1. Send an e-mail to [info@lazerdizayn.co](mailto:info@lazerdizayn.co) with the order number and a short description of the issue.

    2. Attach 2–4 high-resolution photos (product in full, close-up of the defect, outer packaging).

    3. Our quality team will acknowledge the request within 1 business day.

    4. If approved, we will either (a) dispatch a replacement at our cost, or (b) issue a refund to the original payment method.

    5. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of approval and take an additional 2–10 business days to appear on the card statement depending on your bank.

## 5. Cancellation Before Production

You may cancel an order for a full refund any time before you approve the proof. After proof approval, cancellation is only possible if we have not yet cut the material — in that narrow window we will do our best to accommodate the cancellation and offer at minimum a store credit equivalent to the order value less any costs already incurred.

## 6. Non-Returnable Items

    - Custom signs where the proof has been approved and production has started (except defective / damaged items).

    - Signs that have been installed, mounted with adhesive or drilled into a wall.

    - Signs that were customised with profanity, a third-party trademark we had to warn against or any content the customer confirmed was intentional.

    - Gift cards and digital goods.

## 7. Customs and Import Duties

Import duties, VAT and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the consignee. If a parcel is refused at customs and returned to us, we will refund the product price minus round-trip shipping and any duties we had to pay.

## 8. Refund Method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Where that is not possible (for example an expired card) we will offer a store credit of equivalent value. We do not issue cash or bank-transfer refunds.

## 9. Exchanges

We can exchange a non-defective item for a different size, colour or finish only if you contact us within 24 hours of proof approval and before production starts. After production starts exchanges are treated as a new custom order.
